Scanning 35mm negatives has been a specialty of ours, but recently we upgraded our equipment to include large and medium format negatives. Although 35mm is the most common size, we understand that there are various sizes that are more difficult to scan into a digital format. Scanning large format and medium format negatives requires specialized scanning tools and we are glad to provide this new service to our customers!

About Our Negative Scanning Equipment
We have chosen to add the Epson Perfection V800 Photo Color Scanner to our collection of image digitizing equipment. The Epson Perfection V800 contains a built in 8 x 10in transparency unit and film holders providing high quality scans of 35mm slides and negatives, medium format 6 x 20cm and 4 x 5in film, and large format 5 x 9in film using a fluid mount (extra charge for negatives requiring fluid mount). If you are unsure what category your film strips fall under feel free to contact us with further questions about our film scanning services.
About Negative Scanning
Digitizing negatives provides an easy way to view and share older images that are otherwise left collecting dust or stored away in boxes in the attic. Although this may seem like a safe method of storage, even retaining negatives in protective sleeves doesn’t necessarily keep them from being distorted or scratched over the years. That is why we have diligently built up our image scanning service to include not only the common 35mm negatives but also large and medium format negatives as well. We understand that photos are not captured over the decades to be stored in boxes but rather to be enjoyed and shared from generation to generation. Digitizing negatives transforms them into a shareable format for all of your family and friends to enjoy.
